JANE E. KEENE - Patent Attorney / Intellectual Property Attorney
JANE E. KEENE is a founding member of PLEVY & KEENE LLP and has practiced in the field of Intellectual Property for over 20 years. As a registered patent attorney, she has written hundreds of patent applications, and prosecuted thousands of applications which issued as patents in a variety of technical fields, including chemical, pharmaceutical, mechanical, and electrical. Her extensive experience includes working in various IP boutiques, large law firms, and as in-house counsel for several corporations. Prior to entering the field of IP, she was a litigator.
She received her law degree from Temple University School of Law. She graduated cum laude from Thomas Edison State College with a degree in Chemistry, and cum laude from Lycoming College with a degree in Music. She is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the New Jersey Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association.
She is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
ROBERT T. PLEVY - Litigation, Business Licensing & Trademark Attorney
ROBERT T. PLEVY is a founding member of PLEVY& KEENE LLP and has extensive litigation and business experience. He has practiced civil litigation for more than 15 years. As a litigator and managing partner, Mr. Plevy concentrates his practice in the areas of business licensing and trademark law.
As a trial attorney, Mr. Plevy has successfully prosecuted more than one thousand cases in New Jersey and New York, in both state and federal courts. Prior to starting his own practice, he worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for The City of New York.
Mr. Plevy received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. He graduated from Rutgers University with degrees in economics and finance. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
